The voice is my chief artistic material. Since 2000, I have produced a large body of work exploring voices that traverse the interstitial spaces between male and female, adult and child, human and animal and machine. An initial interest in the language of love songs shifted to a fascination for wordless calls and the resuscitation and recirculation of voices from queer history. The voice is also of central importance to my work with museum audio guides.
