A silk banner is suspended from the ceiling, designed to reference the scripted speech acts of medieval paintings. The words “How dare you” unfurl from one end of the banner, “speak to me this way” from the other end. How Dare You Speak To Me This Way was first presented at the Undetectable exhibition at LaMama La Galleria, New York in 2012, curated by Nathan Lee for VisualAIDS.
