Live to Tell exists as a published edition (5 + 2 a/p) accompanied by a letterpressed letter to Madonna, permanently sealed, which must be torn along a perforation to be opened.
Live to Tell was first exhibited at the An American in Paris exhibition at PP Premises, Berlin 2002. Its festival première was at the Impakt Festival, Utrecht, Netherlands in 2002. Live to Tell is part of the permanent collection of the National Gallery of Canada.
