Choreography for solo dancer and video projection, 2007.
Commissioned by Toronto Dance Theatre, the performance features a dancer interpreting the melancholic profile text of an anonymous gay personal ad user into semaphore. The message is projected letter by letter behind the performer on a thirty-second delay. Mayday premiered on May 19, 2007 at Toronto's Winchester Street Theatre, interpreted by dancer Brendan Jensen.
