His artistic universe is populated with audio guides, bells, bouquets, ceramic vases, gay elders, gold leaf, love letters, imaginary paintings, madrigals, megaphones, mirrors, naked men, paravents, postcards, private libraries, queer trees, sex-changing flowers, sign language, subtitles, woodwinds, wrapping paper, and the voices of birds, boy sopranos, choirs, countertenors, and sirens.
